“We had a large wedding with 240 people attending at multiple sites throughout Seattle and Best Made Video did an amazing job! Reid was incredibly responsive, attentive to detail, and fun throughout the process. From our first inquiry, to special requests after our wedding, he was always very patient and quick to help us understand our options. Their detailed survey helped us figure out what we wanted to capture and how we wanted to remember our wedding day. We didn't want people to feel like they were being followed around, so we were relieved that Reid was very engaged, but low key, and quick to make our family and friends feel comfortable. Being a gay couple, we also wanted to make sure our vendors (especially photographer and videographer) didn't make heteronormative assumptions or asks of us. Reid was completely inclusive and didn't make us feel at all like we had to play the roles of "bride" and "groom". After the wedding, the turnaround was very quick - only a couple of weeks to get our highlights video, full ceremony, and raw footage. When we asked for a special customized edit of some of the clips, Reid turned it around in a week during peak wedding season. Reid was responsive and extremely flexible. Fast forward to our wedding day on 7/24/2021 when we met them face to face for the first time. "Reid & Jeff are just awesome people all around. We loved hanging with them on our wedding day, it was like they were extra bridal party members - they felt like our best friends from the moment they introduced themselves to us (on the morning of the wedding). When we were in the middle of wedding planning, my husband wasn't convinced that we needed video but I couldn't imagine not being able to re-watch our ceremony and toasts. I found Best Made Videos during my videographer research and started laughing, then crying when watching highlight videos from other peoples' weddings. So that's when I knew that I wasn't going to get married without hiring Best Made Videos. Reid & Jeff were beyond accommodating (Reid even re-scheduled his own honeymoon so that he would be in town to shoot our wedding), they showed up 20 minutes ahead of schedule and trekked all over Seattle with us because we wanted to take photos in 4 different locations. On the second day of our honeymoon, we woke up to an email from Reid telling us our highlight video was done! We loved it, but there was one clip that I wondered if Reid might be able to edit. 30 minutes later, I had an email response from Reid confirming the edit was complete and the video was good to go - no extra charge, no extra week delay, nothing. We were amazed. About a week after that, Reid provided us with our full ceremony, full toasts, and all raw video taken the day of our wedding. Reid runs his company with a level of service, care, professionalism, quality, and fun that outshined all of our other vendors. We would work with Best Made Videos again anytime.”

"My (now) husband insisted that we hired a videographer in addition to the photographer, and I couldn't be happier that he did. Reid is a consummate professional. We love our photographs, but we love the video even more. I got really choked up during the vows, and half the people attending couldn't hear me. Reid had 2 microphones capturing the vows, and they came out crystal clear. He was super helpful on the day of, he helped my brother in law with setting up the sound system, and was really friendly and upbeat. He was running around getting shot after shot, so we get to see tons of interactions between guests at our wedding that we were too busy to be part of. It was great to see our grandparents interacting for the first time, and our friends from opposite sides of the country hanging out at chatting. Having the video is kinda like getting to go to the wedding for a second time, but this time as a guest, were you just get to kick back and relax. His 7 minute highlights video is perfect, and unlike all the videographers we interviewed, with Reid, you get the raw footage too if you want it. There were some really funny and sweet moments between me and my hubby, that our photographer either didn't capture, or chose not to include in the final pictures that we got from her. The video is very high quality, so we can enjoy the video, or take moments from the video and get many new pictures from screen captures. From the initial interview, through the follow up emails, to the event, to the finished product; Reid has been very thorough, thoughtful, conscientious, up-beat, communicative, and professional. Working with Reid at Best Made Video's was one of the best decisions we made! We are so thankful we have a video of this amazing day in our lives. They say time flies when you're having fun and that is so true. With Reid capturing this day for us, we're able to see those special moments with our family and friends again. We also get to see some of the moments we missed like the reactions during the ceremony, all our guests mingling during cocktail hour, watching our first dance, and late-night dance battles. Reid doesn't just put a bunch of video clips and music together he does an incredible job telling the story of the greatest day of our lives.
A very important thing too, is how easy it is to work with Reid. He reached out to us to check-in and was very responsive to all our questions. We were able to "meet" with him over Facetime when we were first looking for a videographer. Our wedding was in Bellingham, several miles north of Seattle where Reid is based, but he did an excellent job communicating with our wedding coordinator and photographer so that we didn't have to worry about timelines. Everything flowed well that day and Reid and his assistant Jeff did a great job capturing moments between us, our wedding party, and family and friends. Reid is such a friendly and easy-going person with a lot of skill that it felt very natural to have him around to capture the day.
But it doesn't end there! Reid did an excellent job communicating and getting clips and the final video edit to us quickly. He continues to be excited for us and celebrate our special day with thoughtful posts and messages. That is something we really appreciate since he was so close to us all day for this tremendous life event. We highly recommend working with and getting to know Reid!”

From the onset, Reid is no stranger to carrying himself and the tight communication with such poise, confidence and excellence. He takes extra weight off your shoulders that you didn't even know existed until you endure and share an immense gratitude for vendors/partners like Reid that allow such finesse during Wedding planning; the type that will never be taken for granted but all-the-more appreciated in the final product and keepsakes, thereafter. Not in the least bit of the over-bearing type but the kind where you truly don't know how the Day-Of is going to go until you are fully immersed in it and it is happening (you can only bake in slots of timeframes to a point) and Reid got the job done with intended shots while paying great attention to each and every little detail that could possibly be captured. He did so in such a refined and encouraging way. Another family friend asked post-wedding if we had a personal relationship with Reid just by the embracing way we were able to hug it all out at the conclusion of the crazy, wild, fun and beautiful day's filming but I firmly believe his natural passion in this business has the tendency to reflect in this way. Without a shadow of a doubt, take on Reid and his team if even slightly considering. The new Mr. & Mrs. Wurtz have the utmost respect and admiration for the level of service exemplified here. "We were not originally planning on having a videographer. We didn’t put it in the initial budget or think it was necessary. But after talking with Reid and looking through his website (I think I literally watched every video on his blog in one afternoon), I had to have video. And I had to have Best Made Videos. "Best Made Videos does fantastic work.  My wife and I have no regrets about getting videography for our wedding, and we're both extremely happy with went with Best Made Videos.  Videography is great not only to relive the moments when you were there, but also to see what happened when you were out of the room.

First, Reid is incredibly responsive.  I'm not sure when he sleeps, but he always responds to messages in a timely manner.  He answers your questions, and responds to your concerns.  He never dropped communication with us.

Second, Reid and his assistant were fantastic throughout the wedding day.  They were always there if you looked for them, but they were never in the way.  And yet, going back through the footage, they got everything.  The video work and the sound quality are great.  We've got speeches, shots of the guests, even the father of the bridge getting his groove on (while the bride and I were away taking pictures).

So now we come to value.  Everyone knows if you're willing to pay, you can get the best.  But value is what really drew us to BMV, because we didn't have a blank check for all the expenses.  When you look at the Best Made Videos site, you don't see the cheapest videography out there.  But Reid gives you everything you're going to want, up front.  Look at the others and they want extra for speeches, extra for the ceremony, extra for time, etc.  With Best Made Videos, we got speeches, ceremony, and our entire reception covered.  AND a second shooter.

In addition, we had our highlight video delivered in 3 days.  Our full video was delivered the 4th day, and came with all the raw footage.  The only extra charges are for drone use and 4K.  When we priced out everything we wanted that Best Made Videos includes, BMV came out to be the better value, plus it's the exact styling we wanted.  There's just no better choice."

"Throughout our 18 month long engagement I thought about so many details big and small and truthfully didn't think that I wanted a videographer. I had a wonderful photographer hired and I didn't feel the need to capture our wedding any other way; that was of course until about a week before the wedding. We didn't think about a videographer much, and we didn't originally budget for one. "I have been meaning to write this review for months but I knew it would be lengthy and I wasn't sure where to even start! Reid was simply amazing! He is a true professional and kept great communication throughout the whole process. He responded fast, was super affordable for his quality of work, met with us months in advance, followed up with us prior, showed up on time and was very organized. Our video was so beautifully done and we had it back within DAYS! We didn't have to wait weeks or months. We had our perfect wedding highlight video, full ceremony video, and extra footage within only a few days. The best part about working with Reid was who he is as a person though. He didn't feel like a vendor or someone just there to film our wedding, he felt like a friend or family member that was supposed to be there. I was nervous/awkward thinking about having a camera watch us while we were hanging out or getting ready but Reid made it easy to forget the camera was even there. "Wedding planning is difficult... dates, timelines, budgets, researching vendors, new budgets, hiring vendors, (oh and did I mention budgets?), etc. A lot goes on behind the scenes pre, during and post wedding. Initially my (then) fiancé and I wanted to have a photographer & videographer but it wasn't "in the budget." During our time planning we initially decided to move forward without a videographer.

We went to a couple of wedding expos, spent time researching vendors and found that we continued to look at videographers. We spent a lot of time reading reviews, viewing highlight videos, etc. and Best Made Videos was always one of our favorites and often the top rated company. We decided to "stretch" the budget (again) and see if we could find a videographer that was available, had quality videos and was willing to work with us a bit on price. We received a few quotes and although a few were lower, there were even more that were higher priced. In the end it came down to quality of the product and this is when Reid (our videographer) came in to the picture. We really liked his style and the quality of the videos he created. We were excited to learn he had availability on our wedding date.

One of the best decisions we made during our wedding day planning was hiring Best Made Videos as our videographer. Reid is an experienced and highly skilled professional with excellent communication. You want your vendors to be on time on your wedding day and Reid took this to another level. On the day of our wedding Reid arrived a couple hours earlier than stated on our contract and because of this, he filmed some great footage which he added to our videos. My wife and I were concerned about some of our footage because of complications we had with a different vendor on our wedding day and after watching the magic that Reid worked with his cameras, we are even more thankful that we had the opportunity to hire and work with him. Our videos were completed in less than a week and they turned out ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! If you are searching for a videographer to film your special day, I would HIGHLY recommend Best Made Videos. To put it plainly, Best Made Videos is simply that... The BEST!!!"
